Pome Technology is a technology-based company engaged in advanced packaging of semiconductor chips and new display materials. It has a long history of development and is committed to the research and production of typical "bottleneck materials" such as photosensitive polyimide (PSPI) and polyimide liquid crystal alignment agent. Its products include non photosensitive polyimide, photosensitive polyimide (PSPI), and polyimide liquid crystal alignment agent, mainly used in the fields of semiconductor discrete device manufacturing, advanced semiconductor packaging, and liquid crystal display panel manufacturing.
Pome has established platform carriers such as Shandong Academician Workstation, Shandong Key Laboratory of Polyimide Coating Adhesive for Display and Integrated Circuits (in preparation), Shandong New R&D Institution, and Shandong One Enterprise One Technology R&D Center. It has successively won multiple honors including Shandong Province's "Specialized, Refined, Unique, and New" small and medium-sized enterprises, national level technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises, outstanding talent performance units in Shandong Province, "Shandong Good Achievements," Top 50 New Materials Leading Enterprises in Shandong Province, and Shandong Province May Day Labor Award. It has undertaken one national key technology research and development project, one national level talent project, four Shandong Province key R&D plans (major scientific and technological innovation projects), three provincial-level talent projects, and more than 10 city and county-level key R&D projects. We have applied for 82 key core technology patents (already authorized), including 58 invention patents and accepted 23 invention patents. Bomi has always attached importance to the construction of talent team, established a strong domestic polyimide research and development team, and gathered a group of leading talents, including 1 academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, 2 national level talents, 4 Mount Taishan industry leading talents, and 1 person in the 10000 person plan. After years of continuous R&D investment, the company has made significant breakthroughs in the field of polyimide materials used in power semiconductor device manufacturing, advanced semiconductor packaging, and liquid crystal alignment agents. The technology and products have achieved a "three-level leap", with product curing temperature advanced from high temperature to low temperature to ultra-low temperature, and product application scenarios advanced from WLCSP to RDL (4P4M) to RDL (≥ 6P6M). The product indicators have reached the level of international similar products, from being a "follower" in the past to a "parallel player" now, breaking through the technological monopoly of Japanese and American enterprises, and realizing the independent and controllable core technology of polyimide coating adhesive and liquid crystal alignment agent.
At present, Pome's mass-produced PSPI products have been stably supplied to customers for more than 2 years. The products are deeply bound to domestic industry leaders and have won multiple "Technology Breakthrough Awards" from NO.1 companies in the domestic chip design field, as well as the "Rooting in, Breaking Through the Sky" award from leading enterprises in China's communication equipment manufacturing industry. They have successfully achieved the localization of PSPI materials for integrated circuits and have been stably supplied to the top five packaging enterprises in China, with cumulative sales exceeding 100 million yuan. With the exponential growth in demand for computing power in cutting-edge fields such as artificial intelligence and high-performance computing, Chiplet packaging has become a deterministic new track for the development of the global integrated circuit industry. PSPI is an irreplaceable key material for Chiplets, and advanced packaging technologies such as AI chips and HBM storage have driven an annual increase of over 30% in the global market for PSPI, leading to a simultaneous surge in domestic demand.
